Why we need business support

As a registered charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals and organisations to support our activities. Whilst much of our work is funded by grants, we need donations of money, time or services to support our core activities. This allows us to make grant applications so that we can continue making a difference to our river environment.

Keep it local

We are looking for business partners to support our work with communities on local issues. We want our river to be clean, healthy and protected. We want to make it a better place for wildlife and people to enjoy, through walking, fishing, bird watching or boating. Or just to look out of the car window and enjoy the view!

Thanks goes to the businesses who are already supporting our work on the river.

What are the benefits

There are two levels of corporate membership so you can choose the one that is right for your business:

*one tree over 50 years offsets one tonne of carbon

We will also send a window sticker to all our members and to our silver members a River Waveney Trust mug for your office coffees!

How we can work together

Corporate team away days: An opportunity to learn more about the river with outdoor team activities from litter picking and tree-planting to river sampling. These help the river and are great for team building and staff morale. To register your interest please get in touch using the details below. 

Contributions in kind: We always welcome offers of space to hold meetings or specialist skills, for example in marketing, web development or graphic design. 

Fundraising: From donations to organising events to raising money to restore and maintain the river and its catchment. For more information on our current projects in need of support please contact us directly.

As a responsible manufacturer, we support and applaud any measures aimed at caring for our precious rivers. As such, we are proud to be associated with the River Waveney Trust. The trust undertakes excellent work in helping maintain, improve and protect the River Waveney, its tributaries and catchment, for the future benefit of people and wildlife.
